Вечерта събра колекциите на Mohikas, REN HAIXI, Tracy Toulouse, No Sesso и Eesha Patel, наред с ready-to-wear презентация на NIKITA.

Eat Me, Love Me, Fear Me,
Събитието се проведе в The Mezzanine в центъра на Манхатън, а сред неговите спонсори бяха Sonela Beauty, Quit With Jones и Forward__Space. Keerit Kaur.

Фотографският екип на Paris Runway включваше Gabriela Candela, носителка на титлата Best Fashion Photographer 2026, заедно с Christian Mercado, Torry Sledge, Ekaterina Votinova, Asifa, Aleksey Zemlevskiy, Anthony Zaccardi, Chia Ta Tsai, Leo the Visualist, SD Herzog и Hira Ansari.
Fashion Trendsetter.

Break Free NYFW
Showroom Seven.
Lady Gaga.
Men's Ready-to-Wear.
Erickson Beamon.

With designers including No Sesso, REN HAIXI, Mohikas, Tracy Toulouse and Eesha Patel, plus NIKITA, an Erickson Beamon x Wàngda editorial and support from Paris Runway Official, Break Free used one of fashion's biggest weeks to spotlight mental health, addiction recovery and resilience on the runway.
During New York Fashion Week on September 10, Break Free Foundation brought fashion and advocacy together for what organizers described as the only charity runway event on the CFDA calendar.
Founded by Alexandra Nyman, Break Free is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit addressing eating disorders, addiction and mental health. Its Recovery on the Runway showcase has grown into a platform where emerging fashion talent shares the stage with a much bigger message: recovery deserves visibility.
Behind that growth is REHAB STUDIOS, founded by Break Free VP and Creative Director Claire Comai. Originally launched as a clothing brand inspired by Comai's own recovery journey, REHAB has evolved into a creative studio with an expanding role within New York's fashion and PR community.
"The success we've had with Break Free has been incredible... far beyond what I expected," Comai said. "I can't wait to see what we pull off next season."
Fashion With Something to Say
The evening brought together collections from Mohikas, REN HAIXI, Tracy Toulouse, No Sesso and Eesha Patel, alongside a ready-to-wear presentation from NIKITA.
The collections represented dramatically different perspectives. CFDA scholarship recipient REN HAIXI explored lace through sculptural silhouettes and seamless construction, while Eesha Patel's Shrujal brought craftsmanship and symbolism to menswear and womenswear.
Anishnaabe (Ojibway) designer Tracy Toulouse, through Swirling Wind Designs, incorporated Indigenous storytelling and traditional techniques into contemporary fashion. Mohikas, founded by Archana Soni, presented UNBOUND BY MOHIKAS, a collection centered on freedom, individuality, resilience and breaking beyond self-imposed boundaries.
New York-based NIKITA, founded by Canadian designer Nikita Hoehn, brought Eat Me, Love Me, Fear Me, reinterpreting Y2K glamour through a more sophisticated lens.
No Sesso closed the Runway Show with a standout collection.
The showcase took place at The Mezzanine in downtown Manhattan, with Sonela Beauty, Quit With Jones and Forward__Space among its sponsors and Leah David and Keerit Kaur leading backstage styling.
Paris Runway Official Goes Backstage & To The Fashion Pages
For the second consecutive season, Paris Runway Official supported Break Free with an extensive media presence led by journalist Brit Olivia, bringing photographers and editorial coverage to the show.
The Paris Runway Photography Team included Gabriela Candela, named Best Fashion Photographer 2026, alongside Christian Mercado, Torry Sledge, Ekaterina Votinova, Asifa, Aleksey Zemlevskiy, Anthony Zaccardi, Chia Ta Tsai, Leo the Visualist, SD Herzog and Hira Ansari.
Paris Runway Official also brought backstage and guest gifting from YISE Beauty, Redken, Charlotte Tilbury, Misfits Protein Bars, LOVE CORN, Simply Gum, SmartSweets and GORGIE.
The continuing partnership has helped extend Break Free's story beyond the runway, with coverage appearing across publications including Harper's Bazaar, Grazia, Glamour, Fashion X and Fashion Trendsetter.
CFDA Member Erickson Beamon Meets Wàngda - A Paris Runway Official Editorial at Break Free NYFW
Fashion continued beyond the runway with a special editorial that brought together Erickson Beamon and Wàngda. The editorial was facilitated by Brian Metcalf, Paris Runway Official and Showroom Seven.
Founded in 1983 by Karen and Eric Erickson and Vicki Beamon, CFDA member Erickson Beamon has become known for statement jewelry worn by cultural icons including Madonna and Lady Gaga.
The jewelry house was paired with Wàngda, designer Wangda Chen's emerging New York menswear and ready-to-wear label. Chen was named the 2026 Fashion Group International Rising Star Award winner for Men's Ready-to-Wear.
Models Brian Metcalf and Anna Alimani appeared in the Break Free editorial, combining Wàngda's contemporary fashion perspective with Erickson Beamon's unmistakable jewelry.
Recovery, Not Perfection
Yet the most important part of Break Free wasn't a dress, photograph or front-row moment.
The people walking the runway included activists, creatives and individuals connected to recovery, placing lived experience alongside fashion with a shared message: there is life beyond recovery.
In an industry built around images of perfection, Break Free chose something considerably more human: resilience, vulnerability, and progress... resilience, vulnerability and progress.
For one night during New York Fashion Week, clothing became the vehicle rather than the entire story. The runway became a place for people to be seen, experiences to be acknowledged and stigma to be challenged.
At Break Free, the runway wasn't about perfection. It was about what it takes to keep walking.
