During the International Film Festival in Taormina, the President of the International Investment Congress, Anna Stukkert, sat down for an exclusive interview with legendary Italian make-up artist, devout entrepreneur, and founder of La Truccheria Cherie — Maestro Orazio Tomarchio.

They met in Sicily to talk not only about beauty, but about faith, values, and the future of a brand that has inspired women worldwide for over 20 years.

 Anna Stukkert: Maestro, thank you for meeting with us in the heart of the festival. What does your day look like?

 Orazio Tomarchio: My day starts early, with prayer. I am a deeply  religious person, and every day I dedicate to God. This helps me focus and find clarity in my work. Then I dive into business. I’m not just the CEO — I am the brand’s hands and heart.

  Anna Stukkert: How does religion influence your work?

Orazio Tomarchio: Entirely. Everything I create comes from inner faith. My tattoos are symbols of that — each one tells a spiritual story.

Anna Stukkert: You mentioned Saint Agatha. Tell us about that project.

Orazio Tomarchio: I created a lipstick in her honor — deep red, like blood. It’s more than color; it’s a message, a tribute to women who have suffered violence.

Anna Stukkert: What are your next goals?

Orazio Tomarchio: The next step is Cannes, the Oscars, the international stage. We started in 2002 — now we have 13 stores, an academy, franchises. And this is just the beginning.

Anna Stukkert: You once said a handshake means more than a contract. Why?

Orazio Tomarchio: Because respect isn’t on paper. I can turn down any deal that goes against my principles. I believe in honesty, sincerity, and dignity.
